FURYU published its streaming and content posting guidelines on 2 November 2026, two days before the console release. There is no application form and no permission email: individuals and organisations may stream and post as long as the terms below are met.

Which releases the guidelines cover

The text is addressed to "everyone planning to stream gameplay or post content from the Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation®5 versions, which will be released on Thursday, November 5." Those two console versions are the ones named. The Steam release came later than the console launch, and the guidelines contain no Steam-specific wording.

The early access clause and why it no longer applies

PS5 Digital Deluxe pre-order buyers played before launch. During that window the guidelines allowed publishing up to and including the battle against Dum alone, and nothing past it until 4 November 2026 at 23:59 JST. From 5 November 2026 at 00:00 JST the early access clause was replaced by the full-game rule below.

Early access itself is a pre-order perk attached to one SKU. It is not a beta and not the demo, and it has no separate streaming window left to use.

The date that matters: 4 December 2026

From the moment the game unlocked in a player's region, publishing anything past the battle against Dum & Dee is prohibited until 4 December 2026 at 23:59 JST. From 5 December 2026 at 00:00 JST the restriction lifts completely, and the whole game may be streamed or posted, ending included.

The boundary is a named fight rather than a chapter number, which matters for anyone scheduling a long playthrough: the cut-off is the same for every viewer regardless of how far into the game the fight happens to sit.

Screenshots and recorded video follow the same rule

The guidelines state that the restrictions apply to livestreams, recorded videos and screenshots alike. A still taken past the boundary is covered by the same prohibition as a live broadcast — there is no lighter rule for images, and no rule that a clip posted later counts as something other than publication.

Monetisation is allowed, resale is not

Both individuals and organisations may use the monetisation features the platform itself provides, such as advertising and viewer donations. What the guidelines do not grant is permission to sell the game's videos, images, music or other materials as products in their own right.

In practice that separates a monetised playthrough, which is permitted, from a paid product assembled out of extracted assets, which is not.

Spoilers: warn, and keep them out of the title

Story spoilers must be marked, for example with a warning reading "Contains Spoilers". Fan works must be identified as fan-made and carry a spoiler warning where relevant. Titles and thumbnails should not reveal major story developments in either text or image.

A spoiler warning is not a key. Content from the restricted sections cannot be published during the prohibited period whether or not it carries a warning, so the two rules stack rather than trade off.

What is prohibited outright

FURYU encourages gameplay videos and posts carrying original commentary, impressions, strategies, theories and reviews. The following are ruled out:

  • extracting and republishing cutscenes, music, voice recordings or images purely so that others can watch, listen to or view them on their own
  • content that infringes third-party copyright or other rights
  • content that defames or harasses others, breaks the law, or runs contrary to public order and morals
  • content that implies official endorsement, sponsorship, or that it represents the company's views
  • information obtained through game data analysis, modification or other unauthorised methods
  • content from the sections restricted under the guidelines

The last item is the one that catches archives: a video assembled from dozens of short clips still contains the restricted section if any clip crosses the boundary.

Fan kit and fan creations

A Fan Kit is published for streams, videos and other posts. Illustrations, comics and cosplay fall under a separate set of fan-creation guidelines. Both sit alongside the streaming terms rather than replacing them, so a cosplay photo needs the fan-creation rules and a recorded playthrough needs the streaming ones.
